But as each natural history story unfolds it reveals, at its heart, a grander cosmic tale of how everything came to be. Combining the compelling, emotional narrative of natural history with huge, cosmic events across space and time and the personal stories of the world’s leading scientists, these are magical, modern ‘Just So’ stories that elegantly connect all life on Earth to the Universe.
This extraordinary six-part series is a BBC Studios Production for Netflix with BAFTA-winning Mike Davis at the helm as showrunner, with Andrew Cohen executive producing, Naomi Austin and Stephen Cooter directing.

Made for TV and radio, library music offers glorious, perfect pieces of pop. Often brilliantly creative, and recorded in some of the world’s finest studios it has become increasingly popular slice of musical history.
Join some of library music label KPM’s star composers and their big band and listen back to The KPM Allstars at the British Library.
With Alan Hawkshaw, of The Mohawks fame, Keith Mansfield, a favourite provider of samples, Brian Bennett, the longest serving stick-man from The Shadows, John Cameron, award winning film composer and Alan Parker, guitarist who taught David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix a few tricks. Not to forget the star of the show, Hawkshaw’s battered Hammond which gave us the greatest organ groove ever written, The Mohawks The Champ.
KPM is the most established name in Library music and has been a division of EMI Music Publishing for well over 50 years. The KPM archive is now resident at the British Library.
