Matthew Slater to score a documentary about The Salvation Army. True Vision TV (a production company known for not pulling any punches when tell a story or exposing the truth via undercover filming) reveal the inner workings of the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army have given the BBC unprecedented access to is members from privates to the top echelons of the organisation. Screening on the BBC later this year. This is Matthew's third documentary with director Nick Poyntz.

The very talented Matthew Slater has been very busy and has composed the music for THE JFK UNSPOKEN SPEECH called "Words Alone" for Solo Cello and Orchestra. Matthew will be recording the piece in October with 70 musicians from the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra alongside world renowned solo cellist, Caroline Dale. National US Broadcast in November 2013. The Unspoken Speech - A community project by the people of Dallas commemorating the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, created by Resident Alien.

Micha X. Peled's Bitter Seeds has won the Green Screen competition Award at IDFA, the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam. Fifteen films competed, of which three were nominated. Earlier, the film had won the Oxfam Global Justice Award.

Alan Hawkshaw has established The Alan Hawkshaw Foundation to put investment back into the industry by supporting gifted musicians at Leeds College Of Music. The scholarships from the foundation provide young musicians with opportunities they would otherwise not have access to. John Dankworth CBE, one of Britain’s best-known jazz musicians, composers and commentators, has recently become a patron of the foundation.

DNA are very proud to announce that we are now representing composer Ilan Eshkeri. Ilan is a formidable talent and is just completing the hugely anticipated Hannibal Rising (directed by Peter Webber). Ilan was also awarded 'Discovery Of The Year' at the World Soundtrack Awards for his score on Layer Cake. Ilan works with Grammy Award winning producer/engineer Steve McLaughlin who has produced, recorded and mixed the scores for many major feature films including the Die Hard series, the Lethal Weapon series, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, Michael Collins, Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves and and About A Boy to name but a few. Barrington Pheloung to score Anand Tucker's And When Did You Last See Your Father? (starring Colin Firth and Jim Broadbent). The project has been developed under the UK Film Council's Super-Slate initiative in association with Film4, Intandem Films and the Irish Film Board and will be distributed by Sony Classics for North America. Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen at Number 9 Films are producing the adaptation of Blake Morrison's memoirs. Production to commence this month.
