DNA Musics primary aim is to create the most original music in the Film & Television industry and to provide a personal service to producers and directors throughout the whole life of a production, from suggesting composers and music at script-stage through to scoring and final delivery. Where possible we like to be involved early so that we can work in partnership and achieve the creative vision of the director. Our composers are experienced across all genres of production and will deliver exactly what you want.

Agency

DNA currently represents 16 Composers & Songwriters: Andy Sloman, Alan Hawkshaw, Barrington Pheloung, Brian Bennett OBE, Chad Hobson, David James Herbert, Frank Ilfman, John Hardy, Juliette Jaimes, Kirsty Hawkshaw, Liam Bates, Lee Safar, Melissa Parmenter, Nathan McCree, The Lotus Effect and Warren Bennett.

Commissions

To make your life easier, DNA will co-ordinate the whole score process. We will supply you with comprehensive music budgets and working with our composers and agents we will hire the best musicians, orchestrators, conductors, score-readers, copyists, engineers, programmers and studios available.

Composer Contract Consultancy

DNA also offers a contract consultancy service for composers not represented by DNA. We can liaise with your client and negotiate and conclude contracts on your behalf.

Film Score Funding

DNA Music has the means to acquire investment funds for the music budgets of qualifying productions in return for music rights - the production company is under no obligation to use a DNA composer although we'd obviously be delighted if you did. DNA will manage all the music elements of productions without compromising on quality or choice.

Recent productions include: Last Passenger (NDF International and Pathé), Earthbound (Paper Dreams and Ripple World Pictures).

DNA Music Ltd was founded in 2003 by Composer Agent and Score Supervisor, Amanda Street.

Our Music Supervision Service includes music consultancy, copyright clearance, music search, composition, songwriting and re-recording.

Soundtracks

The core business of DNA is a composer agency, however, as a part of our service to producers we will offer access to our Music Supervisors who are instrumental in negotiating soundtrack deals with the majors. Depending on the score or compilation, we also have relationships with independent distributors who will be able to release your score.

Synchronisation

Please let us know if you would like to receive our songs sampler for licensing purposes. All tracks are clearable for both publishing and masters.

DNA can set up an administration deal for your production company with established and efficient publishers via our ongoing relationships.
